Role Description
Dropbox is looking for a Workday Integrations Specialist who combines technical mastery with a keen eye for visual design to join our People Technology team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and implementing scalable Workday applications that deliver both enhanced functionality and an intuitive, visually stunning user experience.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into technical solutions while creating customer-facing features that are engaging, accessible, and easy to use. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in Workday Studio development with a strong foundation in graphic design and user interface principles.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, RaaS, PECI/PICOF, and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST).
Develop and manage integrations using APIs, Workday Studio, and other Workday tools to ensure data accuracy and seamless functionality across systems.
Partner with stakeholders (HR, Payroll, IT, Total Rewards) to understand integration requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs.
Support and maintain existing integrations, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analyses, and implement long-term fixes with minimal business disruption.
Collaborate with downstream teams to coordinate UAT testing, production deployments, and post-release support.
Build and maintain comprehensive documentation for all integrations including design specs, data mapping, and technical workflow.
Own Workday inbound/outbound file configuration with vendors including benefits, payroll, ATS, LMS, etc.
Requirements
Minimum of 5+ years of experience with Workday tools and technologies, including at least 2 years specializing in Workday Studio integration development.
4+ years of experience with data migration, integration development, report building, or software development.
4+ years of experience with technical consulting, requirements gathering, or solution design.
Demonstrated experience with at least one end-to-end Workday implementation or migration project.
Experience integrating with third-party systems (e.g. payroll providers, ATS, LMS, benefits platforms).
Experience working in agile environments and managing Jira-based sprint work.
Proficient in Workday Studio, Orchestrations, XML, XSLT, JSON, and REST/SOAP APIs.
Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript) and experience with JSON, XML, and XSLT.
Preferred Qualifications
Workday certification(s) in Workday Extend and/or Workday Integrations.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and product lifecycle management.
Proven ability to innovate and implement creative solutions to optimize Workday’s functionality.
Experience working in a global organization with diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
Experience in partnering with IT to develop end to end technology solutions within and outside of Workday.

This role is not available in Zone 1 US Zone 2 $131,600—$178,000 USD US Zone 3 $117,000—$158,200 USD
The range(s) listed above is the expected annual salary/OTE (On-Target Earnings) for this role, subject to change.
Please note, OTE are for sales roles only.
Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation. We target most new hire offers between the minimum up to the middle of the range.
Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current US Zone locations are as follows:
- US Zone 1: San Francisco metro, New York City metro, or Seattle metro
- US Zone 2: Austin (TX) metro, Chicago metro, California (outside SF metro), Colorado, Connecticut (outside NYC metro), Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York (outside NYC metro), Oregon, Pennsylvania (outside NYC or DC metro), Washington DC metro, and West Virginia (DC metro)
- US Zone 3: All other US locations
