This role is for a Project Manager specializing in Payroll technology within an ERP cloud migration project, specifically moving from PeopleSoft to Workday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & manage the PeopleSoft to Workday payroll migration for 70,000 end users.
- Oversee parallel payroll testing, ensuring that payroll processes function correctly in both systems before fully transitioning.
- Develop project scope, deliverables, resource allocation, and timelines.
- Collaborate with state agencies, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation.
- Track project progress, report on financials, and mitigate risks/issues.
- Conduct testing, training, and process improvements.
- Ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance with government regulations.
Must-Have Experience:
- Parallel Payroll Process Testing using Workday (critical requirement).
- PeopleSoft to Workday migration experience.
- Project management experience in ERP/cloud-based payroll systems like Workday, Oracle Cloud HCM, Infor, SAP S4/HANA.
- Stakeholder management (including C-suite executives).
- Agile methodologies & project management tools.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- State government work experience.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Project Online, Visio.
- Experience with payroll, talent acquisition, or learning management systems.
- PMP certification.
- 8+ years of experience in a related field

Pay: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour
