Workday Compensation Lead/PM to join their team for an exciting new project!
SALARY: Salaried or hourly rates available- 1 year contract with option to go permanent
LOCATION: Chicago, IL
POSITION: Workday Compensation Lead/PM
ROLE OVERVIEW:- Lead the strategic direction and implementation of Workday Compensation solutions across the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with industry regulations.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and IT teams to define compensation requirements, architect solutions, and oversee the end-to-end configuration and optimization of the Workday Compensation module.
- Serve as the subject matter expert, providing expertise on Workday compensation functionalities, processes, and best practices.
- Manage the integration and implementation of Workday Compensation programs, including data integrity, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with HR Operations to streamline compensation processes, ensuring seamless integration with other Workday HR modules and systems.
- Partner with external consultants or vendors when necessary, ensuring specialized support is available to meet project needs.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years in compensation, with 3+ years focused on Workday Compensation module. Prior experience in healthcare environments is a MUST HAVE.
- Skills: Strong technical and functional expertise in Workday, particularly in compensation, payroll, and total rewards systems.
- Certifications: Workday Compensation certification is preferred but equivalent hands-on experience is acceptable.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, able to engage and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organizat
