Job Title: Sales Compensation Administrator
Location: Atlanta, GA (On-site/Hybrid)
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Sales Compensation Administrator to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our sales compensation program. This role will play a key part in ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment between sales performance and compensation by administering commission plans, managing data systems, and acting as a primary liaison for all sales compensation-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan Administration
- Administer and maintain sales commission and incentive compensation plans.
- Ensure timely and accurate calculation and payout of commissions and bonuses.
System Management
- Utilize compensation management systems and tools to support plan execution, tracking, and performance analysis.
- Ensure data integrity and system reliability across platforms.
Data Collection & Analysis
- Collect and analyze compensation-related data to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, and HR to resolve compensation issues and align plans with business goals.
- Support audit, budget, and financial reporting requirements.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compensation plans are compliant with legal and regulatory standards.
- Maintain proper documentation for auditing and internal control purposes.
Communication & Training
- Provide clear and concise communication regarding compensation plans to stakeholders.
- Assist in the creation and delivery of training materials for sales teams regarding compensation plans and updates.
Plan Support & Optimization
- Support the development and enhancement of compensation structures, incentive models, and quota assignments.
- Recommend improvements to drive performance and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in sales compensation, finance, or HR operations.
- Strong understanding of sales compensation models and best practices.
- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and compensation or CRM platforms (e.g., Xactly, Callidus, Salesforce).
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP) is a plus.
