The Workday Administrator oversees the configuration, maintenance, testing and optimization of the Workday platform, including Workday HCM and Workday Adaptive Planning. This role ensures the seamless operation of Workday systems, manages security configurations, and collaborates with stakeholders to support business processes, troubleshooting and ongoing enhancements. A key focus of this role is maintaining data integrity and accuracy across all Workday modules.
Our Workday Administrator:
- Serves as the primary administrator for the Workday platform, including configuration, maintenance, data loads, integrations, and optimization.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Workday HCM, Workday Adaptive Planning, and other Workday modules.
- Manages Workday security, including role design, business process and domain security policies, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Builds and maintains custom reports (i.e. composite, matrix, advanced) and dashboards with the ability to create custom calculated fields.
- Develops and implements auditing procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Establishes a framework for resolving configuration issues, providing advanced support for complex issues, identifying root cause, and implementing technical solutions to address issues.
- Collaborates with cross functional teamsto understand business requirements and provide effective Workday solutions.
- Develops and maintains documentation for Workday processes and configuration
- Oversees Workday’s biannual feature releases, assesses new functionality, and coordinates testing and deployment with key stakeholders..

What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, human resources, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience, including system configuration and project management. Workday Certification is preferred.
- Prior experience with implementation and roll-out of Workday, including initial configuration, user acceptance testing, and launch.
- Strong understanding of Workday modules, including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Absence, Time Tracking and Workday Adaptive Planning.
- Deep knowledge of Workday report writing and custom calculated fields.
- Advanced experience with Workday security configuration and business process management.
- Ability to prioritize (and re-prioritize) multiple projects of varying complexity.
- Commitment to managing and maintaining confidentiality, honesty and integrity.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various background.
- Must have strong critical thinking skills, excellent organizational skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Prior experience as a team leader/supervisor strongly preferred
- Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft suite, especially Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
