Position : Workday Consultant
Location : Dallas, TX
Duration : 12 Months
Job Description:
- Configure and optimize Workday HCM modules to support business processes, including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Talent & Performance, Absence, and Security.
- Partner with HR, Technology and other Business Teams to analyze, design, and implement Workday solutions that improve efficiency and scalability.
- Provide expertise on organizational design and ensure Workday configurations align with company structures and policies.
- Work with stakeholders to identify business requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide best-practice recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system enhancements, new feature deployments, and Workday releases.
- Develop and maintain documentation, testing materials, and user guides to support end users.
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and security within Workday HCM.
- Stay up to date with Workday updates, releases, and industry best practices to enhance system capabilities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in Workday HCM configuration and implementation.
- Strong understanding of HR business processes and organizational design principles.
- Experience working with Workday modules such as Core HCM, Business Processes, Security, and Reporting.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into system solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with business partners.
- Workday certification in HCM or related modules is a plus.
Job Description:
- Works closely with Internal Customers to leverage technology solutions to maximize return on investment and to assist Internal Customers business processes.
- Proactively seeks opportunities to optimize existing process automation and reduce manual activities, thus lowering operating costs.
- Works broadly across the People Department understanding the full People Technology portfolio of systems.
- Works to actively reduce redundancy of capabilities and ensures consistency in the vetting of and protection of PII data to any system within or outside Client.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis and identify solutions to business problems
- Collaborate with Stakeholders to ensure features and subsequent stories meet expectations
- Communicate with key Stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives
- Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards
- Assess the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to a user environment
- Configure, maintain or update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods
- Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflow
- Identify impediments and potential solutions; challenge the status quo to improve quality, predictability, flow, and velocity
- Define and drive direction for the enterprise within an agile framework and achieve goals using standard program and project management methodologies and practices

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing Customer and personal services including Customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and
- evaluation of Customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography, and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
- Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods including alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems
- Skilled in understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
- Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems

Education Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
- Required: Advanced-level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:
