Responsibilities:
- Operate a Step Van to deliver FedEx packages within Rosedale, Cambria Heights, and Springfield Gardens out of the East New York FedEx Terminal.
- Work approximately 4-5 days per week, with each workday being around 8-10 hours.
- Adhere to strict safety standards on and off the road.
- Interact with FedEx customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.
- Use handheld technology to manage delivery progress and resolve issues.
- Sort and load your Step Van to meet delivery commitments.
- Maintain the delivery vehicle in clean, fueled, and good operating condition.
- Assist in training new team members and support other drivers if needed.

Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- 1 year of commercial driving experience in the last 3 years with a 15' truck or similar size.
- Valid driver’s license within the state of employment.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record with no points or DUIs in the past 3 years.
- Ability to operate and navigate a Step Van with a GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Consent to a drug screening and pass a 5-panel drug test.
- Pass a DOT Physical Test.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move boxes up to 100 lbs, with or without a helper.
- Capability to lift, bend, reach, kneel, and stretch during shifts up to 12 hours.
- Full-time availability, with the ability to work 40 hours a week.
- Strong communication skills and excellent customer service abilities.
