Benefits Manager to support our mission
This role is open to those in San Francisco or New York who are able to be in-office 2 days per week.
About The Role
- Strategic Benefits Planning: Optimize Patreon’s global benefits strategy - analyzing market trends and building the roadmap to enhance our offerings
- Benefits Program Administration: Oversee the administration of employee benefits (both US and international) of health insurance, wellness programs, leave policies, and other benefits/perks
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure programs comply with federal, state, and local laws. Manage audits, reporting, and regulatory requirements in the US and abroad (ACA, 5500 filings, state filings, state leave requirements)
- Vendor and Budget Management: Serve as primary liaison with benefit brokers to negotiate contracts, evaluate performance, and align benefits strategies with business needs
- Employee Experience and Communication: Develop clear and engaging benefits communication strategies to enhance employee understanding and utilization. Act as a trusted resource and first point of contact for employee inquiries.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current processes, implement improvements, and leverage HRIS platforms like Workday.
