Job Summary
The Workday HCM Specialist is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, system configuration, testing and assisting end users with Workday and other applicable HRIS-related inquiries. This role will work closely with the Workday Support, global HR, Finance and IT teams, and external vendors to ensure the smooth functioning of our HR information systems. This position also includes responsibilities for Workday Report Writing support for multiple functional areas.
Essential Functions
- Serve as the primary point of contact and SME for end user support related to Workday HCM modules.
- Respond to and resolve support tickets and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve technical problems.
- Propose, configure, test, and deploy adjustments and/or new business process/functionality in Workday HCM modules
- Develop and update training materials, user guides, FAQs, and other resources to support end users.
- Conduct necessary data entry, maintenance, and validation tasks to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
- Generate standard and custom reports, metrics, and dashboards to support HR and leadership decision making.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve data or business process discrepancies or inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with HR, Operational, Service Line, Finance and IT teams to identify process improvement, automation opportunities and efficiency gains.
- Participate in system upgrades and testing activities to ensure smoot transitions and minimize disruption to end users.
- Document processes, procedures, and workflows to maintain a repository of best practices and ensure consistent and efficient system usage.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and protection regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA, when handling sensitive HR data.
- Maintain data security protocols and access controls to safeguard HR data.
- Other duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in an HCM-related Workday Administrator capacity.
- Minimum 1 years' experience in Workday Report writing, including Advanced and Composite report writing
- 1-3 years’ experience in HRIS support, technical support, or a related role preferred.
