Benefits Manager
Location: Fort Worth, TX (On-site with travel required)
About the Role
Are you an experienced Benefits Specialist or Senior Specialist? We’re seeking a Benefits Specialist to support and drive employee benefit programs for a workforce of 1,600+ employees with an annual benefits cost exceeding $24 million.
This is a hands-on role with a focus on employee education, process documentation, and vendor relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Educate employees on benefits programs, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
- Document and streamline benefits processes, identifying areas for improvement.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring seamless administration of benefit programs.
- Oversee compliance with taxable fringe benefits in collaboration with payroll.
- Support system integrations related to benefits administration.
- Develop training materials and lead benefits education initiatives.
- Maintain high levels of customer service and responsiveness with HR teams and employees.
What We’re Looking For
- 5-10 years of benefits administration experience in a manufacturing, construction, or mining environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits laws (FMLA, ADA, ERISA).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills—this role involves educating employees and HR teams.
- Experience working with vendors, brokers, and outside consultants.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (Workday/SAP knowledge is a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or a related field. CEBS or W@W certifications are a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 40% as needed.
