Position: Workday Analyst
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled
Workday Analyst (Mid-Senior Level) to join their team!
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with expertise in Workday Financials. This position is a backfill due to an internal move, and the team is seeking someone who can effectively support financial and accounting-related functions within Workday. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to managing system updates and troubleshooting tickets.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the Workday Financials Subject Matter Expert (SME), optimizing functionality and supporting financial and accounting departments.
- Research, troubleshoot, and resolve financial and accounting-related tickets while maintaining system security and data integrity.
- Analyze, design, and build custom reports using Workday tools.
- Manage user-based security roles and conduct periodic audits.
- Assist in Workday system updates, configurations, and integrations to ensure seamless performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance system processes and functionality.
- Lead Workday initiatives and support project management tasks.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of HRIS or Business Analyst experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on Workday experience.
- Workday Financials experience required (some HCM-focus).
- Ability to read and modify business processes in Workday.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
- Experience working on both the functional and technical sides of Workday.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Technical or functional HR/Finance background.
- Experience with Workday’s Community Portal for troubleshooting and collaboration.
- Familiarity with Workday implementation tools such as EIB, Workday Studio, Report Writer, and iLoad.
- Project management experience leading Workday initiatives.
- Database knowledge with an understanding of system architecture and downstream impacts.
