This individual will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of the organization's HR Technology systems. The Director of HRIS will play a critical role in the management and utilization of HR data to support effective decision-making. Responsible for managing and leading the human resource information system. Will work closely with functional area leaders and partners to ensure that the HR data is captured accurately and integrity is maintained.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Eight or more years' experience with proven leadership work in HR systems, implementation techniques, reporting and data analytics
- Perform many simultaneous and interconnecting activities in planning, facilitating, and supporting HRIS. This includes defining and facilitating appropriate policies, enterprise-wide standards, plans, and controls for the human resource information system.
- Direct and lead the department functions of the human resource information management systems. Work collaboratively and negotiate as needed to ensure the effective identification and resolution of issues having very complex systemic genesis or impact, and to avoid competing with or jeopardizing other established organizational priorities.
- Lead the design of all HRIS needs to ensure accurate data capture that promotes prudent compliance and enables comprehensive reporting. Oversee and ensure accurate documentation process manuals are designed and updated for all HRIS processes.
- Work with the CHRO in formulating organizational policies and procedures; plan for strategic and tactical research, planning, and developmental activities.
- Lead, direct and ultimately responsible for the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades.
- Analyze business requirements and determines hardware and software requirements to meet data management needs
- Ensure the integrity of internal data bases files, tables and reports
- Working knowledge of functional human resources administration and basic principles of human resources data processing and reporting methods and procedures
- Knowledge of data collection, analysis, data presentation and project management
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, maintain productivity and effectiveness in a fast-changing environment with sometimes conflicting priorities; able to prioritize workloads and resources to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be self-sufficient, self-directed and be able to work with minimal supervision
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality, flexibility, and responsiveness
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree
