The CodeTech Collective, a faith-driven Workday training program, is seeking a proactive Virtual Assistant to help finalize our March 29 launch party and prepare for our first cohort starting May 12. This is a fast-paced role requiring exceptional organizational skills and experience in event planning/startup operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Coordination
Manage launch party logistics (venue confirmations, catering, A/V setup)
Track RSVPs and communicate with attendees via email
Research and negotiate with vendors (photographers, swag suppliers)
Administrative Support
Organize student enrollment data in spreadsheets
Schedule meetings and manage calendars for Co-CEOs
Assist with basic graphic design (Canva) for social media/promos
Tech/Startup Tasks
Upload curriculum materials to Teachfloor LMS
Set up email templates and automate workflows (HubSpot/Mailchimp)
Conduct research on Workday certification trends
Requirements:
2+ years of experience supporting startups or tech/education companies
Mastery of Google Workspace, Trello/Asana, and Canva
Availability to work 15–20 hrs/week with daily check-ins
Ability to meet tight deadlines (March 29 launch)
Nice-to-Have:
Familiarity with Workday or HR tech
Experience coordinating hybrid/virtual events
