Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Compensation Sr. Implementation Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in configuring, testing, and launching the Stock Nominations in Advanced Compensationfor our client along with Reporting of the Nomination data. The ideal candidate will possesstechnical andfunctional expertise in Core and Advanced Compensation, with past implementation experience with configuringstock nominations on theAdvanced Compensation grid and the required setup to accomplish the process.
Workday Core and Advanced Compensation Expertise:
- Workday Compensation Configuration: Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Workday Core and Advanced Compensation modules, ensuring alignment with the organization’s compensation strategy.
- Workday Report Creation: Gather report requirements for during and after the nomination process by level, eligible headcount, permitted participation rate and more.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with client stakeholders to understand their compensation processes, gather business requirements, and provide subject matter expertise on compensation processes, structures, and best practices.
- Data Analysis & Mapping: Analyze and map client compensation data into Workday, ensuring proper data integration and migration during system transitions.
- Testing & Validation: Assist with the development and execution of test scripts for WorkdayCore and Advanced Compensation implementations, ensuring all compensation elements are configured and functioning properly.
- Hypercare support: Proactively troubleshoot and resolve system issues post-launch.
- Documentation: Create detailed configuration documentation and user guides for clients to ensure proper handoff and knowledge transfer.
- Workday HCM Certified
- Proven experience implementing Workday Core and Advanced Compensation (at least 3 years of experience), configuring stock nominations in Advanced Compensation, working with validation rules and reporting.
- Extensive hands-on experience with both Core and Advanced Compensation configurations and functional design in Workday.
- Experience with compensation planning, structures, pay grades, salary bands, bonus programs, and incentive structures.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Workday Compensation configuration, including Compensation Plans, Total Base Pay, Grades Profile ranges, Eligibility Rules, Merit, Bonus, Stock Nominations, and other advanced compensation features.
- Familiarity with Workday Reporting and Workday Studio is a plus.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to proactively identify issues and provide effective solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Workday Certification in HCM

- Payroll experience.
- Workday Reporting and Security experience.
- Experience with integrations between Workday and other HR systems.
