Job Summary
Our client is looking for a Global Payroll Analyst with a strong track record of success. The role will share responsibility for providing direct employee payroll support globally, processing and executing payroll batches, reconciling, and taking on other payroll duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, curious, and analytical. You should have exceptional communication skills and the ability to think outside the box for problem solving and solutions. We are looking for process improvers that can easily pick up and own the payroll operations function with minimal supervision. There is a wealth of knowledge to be learned and we’re looking for a team player that is excited to jump right in!
Responsibilities:
- Assist with payroll processing across the U.S. and international regions, including the UK, Germany, Australia, Japan, Bulgaria, and Costa Rica.
- Support international payroll expansions and ensure compliance with local payroll regulations.
- Manage new state and local payroll tax registrations and configure tax jurisdictions in Workday.
- Administer Workday Time & Attendance and process timesheets for U.S. hourly and salaried non-exempt employees.
- Collaborate with third-party payroll vendors (OSV & Cloudpay) to resolve payroll tax notices and balances due.
- Assist with external and global payroll audits, including 401(k), worker’s compensation, and multi-jurisdiction tax audits.
- Provide direct support to employees and managers regarding payroll-related inquiries.
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies independently, applying best practices and analytical skills.
- Support system integrations between HR and global payroll systems, ensuring accuracy before processing payroll.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive payroll data.
- Work closely with People Operations, Benefits, Compensation, Stock, and Accounting teams to document and implement payroll changes.
- Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll regulations to ensure compliance.
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc payroll-related analyses as assigned.
