We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship offers hands-on experience in employee relations, compensation and benefits, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, analytical, organized, and passionate about building a career in HR.
Essential Responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits Support:
- Assist in compiling and analyzing data for salary benchmarking and compensation reports.
- Support benefits administration, including enrollment tracking, audits, and associate communications.
- Help prepare materials for open enrollment and wellness initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date associate records related to compensation and benefits.
Employee Relations Support:
- Assist in the development and analysis of associate surveys
- Assist with compliance reporting tasks
- Preview training material and provide recommendations for company implementation
- Prepare communications to support company initiatives
- Triage employee relations intake to resolve minor situations while escalating more complex situations to the appropriate HR Business Partner
- Support onboarding and orientation processes for new hires
- Assist with the development of policies, procedures, and HR documentation.
- Support and coordinate meetings and follow up correspondence with employee relations situations
- Participate in the preparation and implementation of HR reports and presentations
HRIS & Data Analysis:
- Input and maintain associate data within the HRIS system with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support HRIS data audits and assist with system updates or reporting tasks.
- Analyze HR data and trends to support decision-making and process improvement.
General HR Administration:
- Maintain confidentiality of associate records and sensitive information.
- Assist with HR reports, audits, and compliance tasks.
- Provide administrative support to HR projects as needed.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Interest in pursuing a career in HR, especially in compensation, benefits, or associate relations.
- Basic data analysis skills (e.g., Excel formulas, pivot tables, charts)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Google Office Suite preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
