We are offering a long term
contract employment opportunity for a
Payroll Manager based in
Nashville, Tennessee. This remote role is within a dynamic environment and involves managing payroll operations, conducting process improvement, and supporting a large team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the processing of payroll operations in an efficient manner.
- Conduct detailed process documentation and knowledge transfer.
- Evaluate and ensure the accuracy of checklists.
- Lead initiatives for process improvement, focusing on transaction flows and review of accruals.
- Identify and address any gaps in the payroll process.
- Act as a potential backup for payroll in case of team turnover.
- Conduct analysis of workers compensation costs and variances.
- Handle equity payouts and bonus payouts.
- Collaborate with the financial reporting team.
- Utilize Workday for various payroll and HR functions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in handling Payroll operations is required.
- Ability to develop and maintain Checklists for various payroll processes.
- Experience in creating comprehensive Process Documentation.
- Strong skills in performing Gap Analysis to improve payroll systems.
- Adept at performing Data Analysis to evaluate payroll performance.
- Knowledge of Workers Compensation policies and procedures.
- Experience in managing Bonus Programs and understanding their impact on payroll.
- Proficiency in using Workday software for HR and payroll operations is mandatory.
- Required to have experience with payroll in NY and CA.
