As a Scrum Master at Kixie, you will play a pivotal role in fostering an agile mindset, removing roadblocks, and ensuring the successful delivery of our projects. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to drive the execution of our agile practices and help the team achieve its goals.
Responsibilities Facilitate agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviewsServe as a coach and mentor to team members on Scrum principles, agile best practices, and continuous improvementRemove obstacles and shield the team from distractions, enabling them to focus on delivering valueCollaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goalsTrack team performance through key metrics (e.g., velocity, sprint burndown) and use data to drive improvementsFoster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability within the team and across the organizationAct as a servant leader, empowering the team to self-organize and take ownership of their deliverablesFacilitate communication between teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment and clarity on project progress
Requirements 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environmentDeep understanding of agile principles, frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), and best practicesProven ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentExperience with agile project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar platformsStrong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skillsAbility to use metrics and data to drive team improvements and support decision-makingCertification as a Scrum Master (e.g., CSM, PSM) is preferredExperience in SaaS, B2B, or startup environments is a strong plus
