A mid-sized financial services firm (~1,500 employees) has grown through acquisitions, leading to fragmented financial systems and workflows. The firm has implemented Workday for HR and financials but continues to rely heavily on Excel for reconciliations and reporting. We need an experienced finance systems expert to help automate cash reconciliation processes, optimize Workday financial reporting, and improve data usability using Tableau and Azure Databricks.
We are looking for a financial systems consultant or data automation expert with experience in Workday Financials, Tableau, and reconciliation automation to execute this project.
Experience in consulting and financial services (wealth management specifically) is a MUST.
This is two buckets of work:
Bucket 1: Standardized & Automated Cash Reconciliation
• Develop a scalable, automated reconciliation framework that replaces manual spreadsheets.
• Standardize processes across all firms to enable seamless cash tracking and comparison of estimated vs. actual billings.
• Prepare data structures for upload to Workday financials.
Bucket 2: Workday Financial Reporting & Dashboard Optimization
• Enhance financial dashboards in Tableau to provide insightful information at the team’s fingertips.
• Improve data extraction and transformation from Workday to Azure Databricks.
• Train finance teams on self-service reporting, reducing manual dependencies.
