The Impact of an Engagement Director to Coupa:
As an Engagement Director for Coupa, you will be in the most senior individual contributor role in supporting the execution and evolution of customer service delivery in the LATAM region. You would be responsible to deliver the end-to-end implementation of the Coupa solution with focus on large or strategic customer accounts. In addition, serve as the delivery executive sponsor (DES) supporting engagement managers on customer projects.
These projects can be delivered either directly by the Professional Services team or in support of one of our certified implementation partners. You would be accountable for the successful 'go-lives' of the customer, as well as being the ambassador of system expertise and best practices that would be aligned to the customers' business goals for choosing Coupa.
Core responsibilities would be to drive the implementation of the end-to-end implementation. This includes managing the reporting, risk analysis and mitigation, as well as aligning the required resources to your project delivery either directly or in concert with the relevant delivery partner. In addition, as a DES, you will ensure and support the engagement managers (EM) towards a successful go-live.
What You'll Do:
Engagement Delivery: Accountable and responsible for the completeness, quality, on-budget, and on-time implementation for assigned customer engagements Primary Coupa point of contact during implementation for customers and partners, also a "concierge" into other needed Coupa functions and resources. Forge strong partnerships with customers and colleagues. Responsible for leading all aspects of implementation from mobilization to deployment, including project resource management. Drive adherence and execution to Coupa's implementation methodologies, including risk and issue management, financial management and all program governance. Responsible for managing issues and escalations from initiation through to resolution. Manage customer expectations in support process discussions for leading practices Collaborate with Coupa services partners during the implementation for partner-led engagements. Engage customers in enlightened business need discussions versus feature/function basics. Create and/or improve implementation templates, training and presentations. Fiscal responsibility for the portfolio of assigned projects (forecast accuracy, contract compliance) Ensure all EM KPIs are achieved, including billable targets as an individual contributor on delivery of customer engagements
Delivery Executive Sponsor: Accountable to the quality, on-budget and on-time implementation of the portfolio of projects that you sponsor Forge strong relationships with customer and partner project executive sponsor(s) and ability to drive value-based conversations Monitor progress of project portfolio and support addressing any issues that arise during the execution. First point of delivery leadership escalation on the engagement and support from initiation through to resolution. Provide guidance and support engagement on a Path to Green. This includes supporting EMs to manage customer and internal stakeholder expectations, internal or external escalations, influence strategies to achieve desired outcomes Ensure fiscal compliance on all engagements under your sponsorship

What You Will Bring to Coupa:- Experience with the Business Spend Management process is highly desirable
- 10+ years' experience in systems applications consulting, either internally via an IT organization or externally with a consulting firm or software provider
- Minimum of 5+ years of program management experience with a proven track record in senior project leadership roles
- Experience in planning and tracking projects, comfortable to work with executive and C-suite customers and superior communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, analyze the complex structure of a company's problems and synthesize ndings and conclusions
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to inuence and engage stakeholders, and to build relationships at all levels of an organization
- Autonomy and a strong sense of initiative, as well as priority management skills
- Versatility and easily adaptive to different situations
- High standards of professionalism
- Experience with Software as a Service is a plus as is any experience with financial accounting, customer management, and sales force automation software
- Previous senior consulting experience with the following applications is a solid predictor of success: Ariba, Concur, NetSuite, Basware, OB10, Salesforce.com, Workday, Great Plains, ACT, Oracle, SAP
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English. Having Spanish written and verbal communication skills will be an asset
- Must be able to work in a fast paced and passionate environment
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Must have shown significant career growth as part of prior experience
