Alphanumeric is hiring a WORKDAY FUNCTIONAL ANALYST to work in Durham, NC (Research Triangle) for our client of 20 years committed to improving lives through medical and pharmaceutical advancements. This position can be done remotely.

This role requires full eligibility to work in the USA. We do not offer work visa sponsorships for this position.

Location: Remote, but preferably based in Durham, NC
Hours/Shifts: Monday to Friday regular business hours, 40H/week
Pay rate: 45$/hour

Job Purpose:

Drive and manage efficiency and accuracy of Workday Payroll Module for US & Canada. As a member of the Tech Payroll team be responsible for the analysis, configuration, and maintenance according to the company policies and Workday procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum BS/BA in computer science or related technical discipline.
Experience with Workday Payroll Module is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of US & Canadian payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
Proven experience in payroll administration and configuration of payroll modules within HRIS systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Keep maintenance of already customized and configured Payroll Module to meet the organization's specific payroll requirements, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Analyze payroll-related system configuration based on payroll team queries, identify discrepancies, and work on resolving issues in cooperation with other Workday product owners.
Introduce system changes including Workday releases by testing and validating new features.
Troubleshoot and resolve Workday Payroll Module-related problems, working closely with US & Canadian payroll teams and cross-functional teams.
Maintain detailed documentation of payroll module configurations for future reference.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, enhancements, and automation within the payroll module to streamline operations.
