In This Role!
You will be part of our very experienced Benefits Team, providing primary support to assigned clients in multiple time zones. This person is responsible for all the ongoing Benefits Administration for their assigned clients, including but not limited to: New Hire and Open Enrollments; Verification of QLE’s; Processing benefit changes at the carrier level; invoice audit and reconciliations; payroll audit and verification; managing COBRA processes. We establish long-term relationships with all clients as our average client contract is 3 years. Each Benefits Account Manager will service 3 to 5 clients depending on size and complexity. This Full-Time position focuses on white glove customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
- Handle enrollments, changes, and terminations in benefit plans.
- Ensure accurate benefit data entry in HRIS and benefit systems.
Account Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and support.
- Coordinate with vendors and brokers for renewals, audits, and compliance.
- Reconcile invoices and coordinate all benefits-related expenses and deductions (e.g., Medical, Dental, Vision, Ancillaries).
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work with multiple HRIS and benefit administration platforms (experience with Workday, ADP Workforce Now, or Paylocity is a plus).
- Utilize advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office applications to manage and analyze benefit data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless benefit administration and support.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
- Minimum of 5 years of Employee Benefits Administration experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of Account Management experience.
- Working knowledge of HRIS or Benefit Administration Platforms is essential; familiarity with Workday, ADP Workforce Now, or Paylocity is a plus.
- Proven experience in invoice reconciliation and coordinating benefits-related expenses with Payroll teams.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize a varied workload and multitask effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to multiple HRIS/software platforms.
