Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Systems Analyst to join our client for a 2-year contract. This role will play a crucial role in supporting our client during a complex system implementation by backfilling a key member of their financial systems team. Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update accounting and finance master data (e.g., chart of accounts, cost centers, vendors, customers) within the client's financial systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all master data domains.
• Develop and implement master data governance procedures and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve master data issues and discrepancies.
• Perform data cleansing and validation activities.
• Gather and document business requirements related to financial systems and processes.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Assist in the development and testing of system configurations and enhancements.
• Provide support to end-users during system implementation and post-implementation.
• Create and maintain process documentation and training materials.
• Generate reports and perform data analysis for various stakeholders.
• Participate in testing and validation of system changes.
• Provide support to the project team during the system implementation lifecycle.
• Assist with data migration and cutover activities.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless system integration.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial systems analysis or a related role.
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles.
• Proven experience with master data management concepts and practices.
• Experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) is highly desirable.
• Strong preference for experience with Lawson ERP.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience in remote work environments.
