Description
We are seeking a
Business Process Analyst to support the BIT team in driving operational efficiencies, process improvements, and system enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a
technical understanding of HCM modules and Payroll, including payroll processing. This role requires gathering requirements, modifying test scripts, and facilitating QA reviews in both pre- and post-implementation phases of projects.
The
Business Process Analyst will collaborate across multiple teams to
identify, document, and improve processes and technologies that enhance Workday Support initiatives. The role demands strong analytical skills, exceptional communication, and the ability to work cross-functionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and document current vs. future state business processes.
- Organize, lead, and facilitate meetings with stakeholders and team members.
- Review and analyze survey data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Develop process flows and procedures to address process gaps and drive efficiencies.
- Identify root causes of operational challenges and align solutions with business requirements.
- Deliver presentations and provide process inputs for training materials.
- Communicate project progress, perform cost-benefit analysis, and escalate risks when needed.
- Develop and execute project plans, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
- Design test plans and support documentation for test scripts.
- Serve as the main point of contact (POC) for business teams outside of Payroll, WoW, HR, and Program Management.
- Approve tenant management requests.
- Provide Workday system expertise to troubleshoot issues and support QA efforts.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Workday HCM and Workday Payroll, including payroll processing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with business process mapping and improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
