Job Summary
This role is responsible for managing US and global payroll and global reward and compensation programs. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining competitive salary structures and job levels, incentive programs, commissions and bonuses. The Rewards Manager works closely with HR, senior leadership, and external vendors to ensure compliance with legal regulations and industry standards. Key tasks also include US and global payroll, reporting, and advising on reward strategies to support organizational performance and employee satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities
Compensation and Rewards:
- Develop, implement, and manage competitive and equitable compensation programs, including base salary, bonuses, incentives, commissions and stock options.
- Analyze market data and trends to ensure compensation structures are aligned with industry standards and support the organization’s talent acquisition and retention goals.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to define compensation philosophies and practices in line with overall organizational objectives.
Global and US Payroll Management:
- Oversee and process both US and global payroll, ensuring timely and accurate processing in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Work with external vendors and payroll service providers to resolve payroll issues and ensure consistent delivery of payroll services across global locations.
- Monitor and manage payroll tax compliance across different jurisdictions (federal, state, international), including reporting and auditing requirements.
- Provide support in payroll-related matters for employees and ensure proper distribution of benefits and bonuses.
Workday System Expertise:
- Manage and optimize Workday Compensation and Payroll modules, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with organizational policies and compensation programs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in collaboration with HR team members.
- Provide training and guidance to HR teams and employees on Workday compensation-related processes and functionalities.
- Analyze compensation data within Workday to generate reports and insights for management, making recommendations for process improvements or adjustments.
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to compensation and benefits, including tax reporting and labor law compliance.
- Monitor and maintain internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure the integrity of the compensation and payroll processes.
- Conduct regular audits of compensation and benefits practices to ensure fairness, transparency, and adherence to organizational policies.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct regular analysis of compensation and payroll data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports on compensation metrics, benchmarking results, and payroll audits as needed.
- Use data to support strategic decision-making and to make recommendations for enhancements to compensation structures and processes.
Employee Communication and Engagement:
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide advice to managers and employees regarding compensation and payroll-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with HR business partners to develop communication strategies that keep employees informed of compensation changes, bonuses, and other related updates.
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
· 5+ years of experience in compensation management, payroll, and HR systems.
· Extensive experience with Workday HRIS and compensation/payroll modules.
· 5+ years of experience with US payroll.
· 2+ years of experience with global payroll (preferably APAC).
· Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) and data reporting tools.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with senior leadership, employees, and external vendors.
· Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate complex situations related to compensation and payroll matters.
· In-depth knowledge of compensation benchmarking, market trends, and salary surveys.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
