Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Workday HCM Compensation Functional Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and supporting the compensation functionality within the Workday HCM system. You will partner with HR and compensation teams to ensure compensation processes are optimized, aligned with business goals, and run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Workday Compensation Configuration & Support:
- Configure and maintain Workday Compensation modules, including base pay, merit, bonuses, stock options, and other compensation-related components.
- Support the design and implementation of compensation plans and structures (e.g., salary grids, bonus plans, incentive pay).
- Ensure Workday Compensation functionality aligns with internal policies, compensation strategies, and external regulations.
- Compensation Process Optimization:
- Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to define compensation workflows, ensuring seamless integration with other Workday modules (e.g., Core HR, Payroll, Benefits).
- Recommend improvements to compensation processes to increase efficiency and drive better business outcomes.
- Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Lead testing for compensation-related system changes, configurations, and updates.
- Validate compensation calculations, including base pay adjustments, merit increases, bonuses, and other incentives.
- Data Management & Reporting:
- Build, maintain, and optimize compensation-related reports and dashboards in Workday.
- Conduct compensation analysis to identify trends, benchmarking, and provide insights to HR and leadership teams.
- Ensure accurate and timely compensation data, ensuring data integrity across the Workday system.
- User Support & Training:
- Provide end-user training and support for compensation-related functionality in Workday.
- Develop and maintain user documentation for compensation processes and best practices.
- Collaboration with IT & External Partners:
- Partner with IT teams to ensure the smooth integration of compensation data across other systems (e.g., payroll, benefits).
- Collaborate with Workday support teams or third-party vendors to resolve any system issues or implement new functionality.
- Compliance & Best Practices:
- Ensure compensation processes comply with legal, regulatory, and company-specific requirements.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and Workday updates, recommending solutions that align with evolving compensation strategies.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience working with Workday HCM, specifically in the Compensation module.
- Proven experience with configuring compensation structures (e.g., pay grades, compensation packages).
- Experience with compensation processes such as merit reviews, bonus calculations, and incentive pay.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of compensation theory, practices, and structures.
- Expertise in Workday Compensation configuration, security, and business processes.
- Proficiency with Workday reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Workday Report Writer, Prism Analytics).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to process and interpret compensation data.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Workday Compensation Certification.
- Experience with compensation benchmarking tools and market data.
- Knowledge of compensation-related compliance requirements (e.g., FLSA, Equal Pay).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
