You Are:

We are seeking a Workday HCM Payroll Senior Consultant to support the core HCM And Payroll workstreams for a retail customer undergoing a Phase 1 Workday deployment.

The Opportunity:

Serve as a Workday HCM and Payroll Subject Matter Expert with deep knowledge of related system functionality and capabilities including business processes and security.

Actively participate in design, planning, implementation and support of business process configuration, security, and testing

Identify opportunities to optimize and enhance business processes, practices, and configuration with the move from legacy system (AS400 Infor) to Workday

Evaluate, communicate, and coordinate the technical impacts of configuration decisions, providing detailed analysis when necessary.

Partner with stakeholders (internal and external) across HCM And Payroll Workday modules

Track issues and risks, communicate status, and escalate to management.

Educate users on the use and features/functionality of Workday.

Participate in Workday upgrade preparation and release activities, including feature review, impact analysis, regression testing, education, and updates to training materials.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What You Need:

Have been part of at least 2 end-to-end Workday deployments with a good understanding of customer side challenges and readiness for go-live.

4+ years’ Workday HCM and Payroll design, configuration, and testing experience.

Workday Pro or Implementation Certification preferred in Workday HCM and Payroll

Experience with payroll data conversion from legacy systems (AS400 Infor)

Ideally also have a good understanding of Workday Absence, Time tracking and Payroll inputs (EIBs etc).

Advanced Excel skills and understanding of Workday deployment methodology around Payroll parallel testing and cutover.

Strong communications and organizational stakeholder management skills with the ability to effectively manage change/escalations during a Workday deployment.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $107,000-$161,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
