Job title: Tour Guide at Kō Hana Distillers

Responsibilities

Educate visitors about the Place, Plant, People and Product
Answer questions from guests and provide assistance as needed to enhance their experience.
Manage time effectively to adhere to scheduled tour times while allowing for guest interaction.
Collaborate with team members to improve tour content and delivery based on guest feedback.
Maintain a professional demeanor and represent the organization positively at all times.

Daily Tasks include but not Limited To:

Conduct in-store tastings and tours.
Set up and arrange displays and/or demonstration areas to attract the attention of prospective customers.
Answer product and pricing questions and share company information to customers.
Provides general tourist information.
Handles routine sales transactions which include operating cash registers and accounting of daily sales.
Assists in maintaining cleanliness of facilities.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Proven experience in customer service or related fields is preferred.
Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a wider range of guests.
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated leadership qualities to manage group dynamics during tours.
Strong time management skills to ensure timely completion of tours while maintaining quality engagement.
A passion for history, culture, or the specific subject matter related to the tours offered is a plus.

Other Associated Factors:

- Sales background or previous experience conducting in-store tastings preferred

- May need to lift, pull or push 20+ pounds.

- Must be capable of standing throughout the workday for extended periods of time.

- Authorized to work in the US.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.50 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
